What is Acrobatic Gymnastics?

Acrobatic gymnastics is a competitive gymnastic discipline where partnerships of gymnasts work together and perform routines consisting of acrobatic moves, dance and tumbling, set to music. Check out the video to watch an elite level acrobatics trio routine!

Acro Team

International Elite is one of the top Acrobatic Gymnastics teams in the nation with numerous National Champions and International medalists! We currently have athletes on the USA National Team and have placed athletes on the USA World Championships Team every year since 2012. Our coaches have over a decade of coaching and judging experience,

Our program features different competitive tracks to fit your child’s level of commitment. From local competitions up to National level events, International Elite provides the highest level of coaching to take your child as far as their dreams can imagine!

Athletes are partnered in groups of 2, 3 or 4 and compete on the floor exercise to music. Routines are composed of partner elements, tumbling, dance and gymnastics elements. We incorporate different styles of dance to fit the personalities of each particular group. Acro is great for kids of any age and size - we need tall strong athletes for bases and small flexible athletes for flyers. Athletes can switch positions as they grow so the learning never stops and the variety keeps things fresh and interesting! Acrobatic gymnastics makes a great alternative to traditional gymnastics because of how inclusive this sport is and its lower amount of training hours.

Gymnastics is a year round sport with competitions February-May/June depending on your level. Summer training is an important time for learning new skills and exploring new partnerships. Monthly tuition is based on the number of training days. There are additional competition fees that are separate from monthly tuition based on your competition level.
